The CUMC/Rio Bravo Connection

Collierville United Methodist Church mission teams have been serving Rio Bravo Ministries non-stop since 1999.  During this time, God has granted us an amazing relationship with the missionaries, staff and children which has fostered a commitment and unrelenting desire to grow our presence. We are a constant in each others lives and eagerly await our yearly reunion. Our teams perform major construction, repair, and renovation work, but more importantly, we dedicate a significant amount of time to positive interaction with the children.  Each night we surround them with love through games, watching movies, craft activities, free play and as much one-on-one interaction as we can muster.  We have watched the children grow from toddler to college student while the mission grew from a few children and a couple buildings to a thriving Christian Home and school complex.  Rio Bravo not only serves the 70 kids who live there but over 400 local kids who attend Hope School daily within its walls and even more children at their off-site Blue School. Our commitment to Rio Bravo, its mission and its kids, is stronger than ever.  Come… Stand In The Gap and play in our tournament ...help us impact the lives of God's children.

Matthew 25:36

For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.'
